Eight Lessons in Living Together was shown at the 8th Annual Appalachian Film Festival in the Keith Albee Theater in Huntington, West Virginia. Filmmaker Jim McQuaid and co-writer and lead Darrell Parker attended The festival is sponsored by the Huntington Regional Film Commission.

With a total running time of 49 minutes, our film is a difficult fit for many festival's schedules. The Appalachian Film Festival's "shorts" category accepts films up to 50 minutes in length, so we thought there might be a good fit for the gentle humor of this film. Of course, we were quite pleased when the festival selected the film, doubtlessly their "longest short."
